Brand Refresh!

As we continue to move the Filipino American Association of Pittsburgh forward, we are introducing a brand refresh that updates how we present ourselves to the community.

You will begin to see us referred to more frequently as Fil-Am PGH.

A modern, approachable name that reflects how our community already knows us. This change is purely a branding update. Our official legal name, Filipino American Association of Pittsburgh, our mission, and our commitment to service remain unchanged.

This refresh positions us for greater visibility, stronger engagement, and a more consistent presence across digital platforms as we approach our next chapter while honoring 70 years of service and community in Pittsburgh.

Support Our Kababayans in the Philippines

To all our Filipino kababayans affected by the recent typhoons and earthquakes, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.
Now more than ever, let us come together in the spirit of bayanihan to help those who have lost their homes, livelihoods, and loved ones. Your generosity will go a long way in providing much-needed relief and hope to our fellow Filipinos.

Filipino American Stories on Migration and Memory

The Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center’s first exhibition at the National Museum of American History, spotlighting Stockton’s Little Manila, in Washington, D.C.

How Can You Forget Me: Filipino American Stories highlights the overlooked history of Stockton’s “Little Manila,” once home to the largest Filipino community outside the Philippines. Centered on twenty-six preserved steamer trunks and over fifty artifacts, the exhibition reveals the lives of early Filipino migrants who built families, unions, and a vibrant cultural hub from the 1910s to the 1970s.
